Welcome back to my coverage of CanJam NYC 2026.
I would like to extend special thanks to Noble Audio for making this coverage possible, not only do they make incredible IEMs and now Headphones, they have always been a great supporter of the Personal Audio community in general, often sponsoring our coverage of these events
MOON AUDIO

A welcome sight at CanJam NYC 2026 was the return of our good friends at MOON AUDIO, an online personal audio dealer and manufacturer of the epic Dragon Cables. At the show they were launching their new fantastic amplifier line SAROS AUDIO SYSTEMS with their fully differential (balanced) SAROS AUDIO SYSTEMS EUROPA Balanced Tube Headphone Amplifier & Preamplifier ($8,995), being a long time fan of Dragon Cables and MOON AUDIO’s Dragon Inspire IHA-1 Tube Headphone Amp, I look forward to an opportunity to review this beauty.

DanaCable

Speaking of amazing cables, next on my list was DanaCable, whose DanaCable Lazuli SYMPHONY cables ($4,495) truly revolutionize the headphones they are designed for, allowing headphones like the HIFIMAN SUSVARA UNVEILED to reach their full potential as state-of-the-art reference audiophile headphones.

Dekoni Audio

Dekoni Audio has done something truly unique in setting up a full retail space displaying their amazing headphones and headphone accessories. The highlight of the show was the expansion of their Dekoni Audio Ensamble Cable System to include more headphone connections, a PCUHD Copper braided cable, and now an inline USB-C DAC/Amp ($64.99 Silver Braided Cable).

MEZE AUDIO

MEZE AUDIO were launching their new MEZE AUDIO ASTRU IEM ($899), which gathered a lot of attention, as did the MEZE AUDIO STRADA Closed-Back Dynamic Headphone ($799). Of course their whole line was on display from the new MEZE AUDIO 99 Classics 2nd gen ($349) to the MEZE AUDIO ELITE TUNGSTEN ($4,000).

Schiit Audio

It was tube heaven at Schiit Audio this year, with the amazing Schiit Audio Valhalla 3 tube Headphone Amplifier ($499) being fed by the unrivalled Schiit Audio Gungnir 2 Balanced Multiform DAC ($1,599) and the fantastic Schiit Forkbeard compatible Schiit Audio Lyr 5 Fusion Headphone Amplifier ($799) paired with the fabulous Schiit Audio Bifrost ($799). To top of the bill was the Schiit Audio Yggdrasil Singular DAC ($2,299), which claims to be the only DAC in the world that does not use any off-the-shelf USB receivers, DACs, digital filters, or even op-amps. “Everything from the USB input to the digital filter to the delta-sigma modulator to the discrete output stage was developed by us.”

AUDEZE

No CanJam would be complete without AUDEZE who were among the first wave of the modern audiophile planar magnetic headphones. Displaying their extensive line of planar headphones from their wonderful flagship AUDEZE CRBN2 Electrostic Headphone ($5,995) and AUDEZE LCD-5s Reference Planar Magnetic headphone ($4,500) to the exceptional AUDEZE MM-500 Planar Magnetic Professional Headphone ($1,699) voiced by Manny Marroquin to provide the high level of sonic linearity required for use in the studio, to their impressive new AUDEZE Maxwell 2 Wireless Planar Magnetic Gaming Headset ($329) which were displayed with custom covers to add an aesthetic to their already class leading sound quality.

Stay tuned for Part 3 of my coverage of CanJam NYC 2026. Once again, I would like to extend special thanks to Noble Audio for making this coverage possible.
