Meze took one of the large ballrooms to show off their complete product line. To match their aesthetic while demonstrating the epic Meze Liric Closed-Back Headphone($2,000) they made a custom faceplate for the dCS Lina System ($31,150). Also on display were a brand-new open-back dynamic design the Meze 105 AER Headphone ($400) as well as the Meze 109 Pro Open-Back Dynamic Headphone($799). DEKONI AUDIO

CanJam Dallas 2024 - DEKONI AUDIO

DEKONI Audio had something new to supplement their line of fantastic custom earpads, eartips, and headphone accessories, DEKONI Audio’s new Headphone Cable line ENSEMBLE CABLES ($59.99 – $84.99) which employs MCS (DEKONI Modular Cable System) making it easy to switch between connectors without having to duplicate everything for each headphone and each amplifier.

WARWICK ACOUSTICS

CanJam Dallas 2024 - WARWICK ACOUSTICS

WARWICK ACOUSTICS was showing off their new WARWICK ACOUSTICS APERIO GoldenSound SIGNATURE Electrostatic Headphone System ($38,000) voiced by Cameron Oatley (GoldenSound) alongside a standard WARWICK ACOUSTICS APERIO ($40,000 for the limited Black Edition, $35,000 for silver) to allow for A/B listening. While I prefer the original voicing, I believe the GoldenSound will appeal to most.

Planet Venus Audio Technologies made their CanJam debut showing their unique software option that allows for the isolation and removal of specific noise and distortion. Their Spectral Coherence Control ($189 Essentials Version, $389 Master Version) lets you actually listen to the removed material. Though their software is currently only available for Mac, they said they are working on a Windows version.

HIGH END by OZ/MIMIC AUDIO

CanJam Dallas 2024 - HIGH END by OZ/MIMIC AUDIO

HIGH END by OZ and MIMIC AUDIO have become a regular fixture at all of the shows I attend showing off great products like Mytek, EMM Labs, Viva, Modhouse, Stax, and pretty much every headphone line. What I found to be exceptional was the Viva Egoista STX Electrostatic 300b Headphone Amplifier ($23,750) which provided beautiful sound whether played through STAX SR-X9000 Electrostatic Earspeakers ($6,200) or Dan Clark Audio CORINA Electrostatic Headphones ($4,499.99)

requisite AUDIO/RAAL 1995

CanJam Dallas 2024 - RAAL 1995

requisite AUDIO (formally RAAL|requisite) was showing both of the RAAL 1995 models the RAAL 1995 Magna dual ribbon Headphone and the RAAL 1995 Immanis triple ribbon Headphone, as well as the RAAL 1995 Ribbon Current Drive Interface. Danny was quick to point out that both models are only available from requisite AUDIO (who have exclusive U.S. rights to the product) direct in the U.S. as they are too backlogged to provide units for dealers at this time.

So that wraps up my coverage of CanJam Dallas 2024 thanks to Noble Audio for providing sponsorship.
