Welcome back to my coverage of CanJam NYC 2026.
I would like to extend special thanks to Noble Audio for making this coverage possible, not only do they make incredible IEMs and now Headphones, they have always been a great supporter of the Personal Audio community in general, often sponsoring our coverage of these events
Woo Audio

Woo Audio was debuting their exciting new solid-state headphone amplifier, the Woo Audio WA12 Zircon Solid-state Flagship Headphone Amplifier ($7,999) an interesting departure for a company that is widely known for their fantastic tube designs.

ABYSS

Sharing space with Woo Audio as usual was ABYSS showing their famous ABYSS AB1266 Phi TC Headphone ($5,995), as well as the ABYSS Diana MR ($2,995) and ABYSS JOAL ($1,895).

DARK MATTER AUDIO LABS

Once again sharing space with Dekoni was DARK MATTER AUDIO LABS, a new Custom IEM manufacturer created by Dave Friesema, who was previously Technical Director for Etymotic/Westone Audio. They offer a range of CIEMs beginning at $699.99 and ranging up to $1,699.99.

grell

Also sharing the room with Dekoni was grell, and their grell OAE1 headphone ($169), which offers a unique driver placement designed to improve imaging.

forté

Forté Distribution had a couple of exciting products on display the Luxsin Audio X9 DAC/Headphone Amp ($1,099) which has the unique feature that it can adjust 2,500 different headphones to match the Harmon Curve, the Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 Music Streamer ($1,299), and the Shanling HW600 Planar Headphones ($1099) which sounded surprisingly good for a first time effort.

ZMF

Requiring two ballrooms to encompass their massive line of custom bespoke headphones and amplifiers was ZMF.

HEAD(AMAME)

A new name to me was Canadian Headphone Manufacturer HEAD(AMAME), whose regular business is offering 3d printed headphones in kit form. For the show, they were premiering their new HEAD(AMAME) PRO headphone, which features glass drivers and is currently available through Kickstarter, where they have achieved 10 times their original production goal and are at the moment offering the headphone for a pledge of $369 against an eventual MSRP of $469 and planned delivery date of April 2026.

Stay tuned for Part 5 of my coverage of CanJam NYC 2026. Once again, I would like to extend special thanks to Noble Audio for making this coverage possible.
