Noble Audio announces Iris: One Driver. One Vision.

A new single dynamic driver IEM with custom Micarta housing, triple sound chamber architecture and natural full-range performance at $699 / £649 / €749

7 July 2026: Noble Audio has announced Iris, a new single dynamic driver in-ear monitor built around one focused idea: One Driver. One Vision.

Created for clarity, focus and natural musical flow, Iris takes a purist approach to Noble’s universal IEM line-up. Instead of using multiple driver types, it centres the entire listening experience around a custom 10.2mm dynamic driver, engineered to deliver a coherent, expressive and naturally connected sound from a single full-range source.

The driver features a three-layer PU and PEEK diaphragm with coating, supported by a dual neodymium iron boron magnet system and triple sound chamber design. Together, these elements help Iris deliver focused imaging, natural vocal presence, controlled low-frequency texture and a clean sense of space.

Finished in a blue CNC-machined custom Micarta housing inspired by the iris flower, Iris combines Noble’s acoustic design, craftsmanship and visual artistry in a refined universal in-ear monitor.

Iris launches globally on 7 July 2026, priced at $699 / £649 / €749. It will be available from nobleaudio.com and selected retailers worldwide, before making its public debut at Potafes 2026 Summer Akihabara, the Portable Audio Festival in Japan, on 11–12 July.

One Driver. One Vision.

Iris is built around the belief that simplicity, when executed properly, can be powerful. Its single dynamic driver design gives the monitor a unified acoustic character, with bass, mids and treble all delivered from one carefully controlled source.

That approach gives Iris its identity. Vocals feel naturally placed, instruments sit together with purpose, and the overall presentation is designed to feel fluid rather than forced. It is an IEM for listeners who want detail and refinement, but also want the music to feel connected, expressive and easy to follow.

The result is a focused single-driver monitor that brings a different kind of Noble experience: clean, coherent and emotionally direct.

Custom 10.2mm dynamic driver

At the heart of Iris is a custom 10.2mm dynamic driver, using the same driver type as Noble Audio’s Amadeus, but scaled up for greater authority and expression. Its three-layer PU and PEEK diaphragm with coating is engineered for responsive movement, controlled low-frequency texture and clear mid-to-high frequency performance.

Paired with a dual neodymium iron boron magnet system, Iris maintains strong driver control and dynamic expression across the full frequency range. With a frequency response of 10Hz–40kHz, Iris is designed to deliver extended low and high frequency performance while preserving the natural coherence, immediacy and musicality that make single dynamic driver IEMs so compelling.

Triple sound chamber architecture

Inside the CNC-machined custom Micarta housing, Iris uses a triple sound chamber design to further refine driver performance by shaping airflow and acoustic response.

This structure helps the single dynamic driver perform with greater control, supporting focused imaging, natural vocal presence and a clean sense of space. It gives Iris the ability to sound organised and spacious without losing the simplicity and immediacy of a one-driver design.

Custom Micarta housing inspired by the iris flower

Iris features a blue CNC-machined custom Micarta housing, drawing a subtle connection to the iris flower and giving the monitor a visual identity that feels organic, refined and distinctly Noble.

The material gives Iris its own character and depth, while the CNC-machined construction delivers the precision and finish expected from a high-end universal in-ear monitor.

Built for modern wired listening

Iris is designed for listeners who want a premium wired IEM that feels focused, flexible and ready for everyday use.

With 34Ω impedance and 113dB +/- 3dB sensitivity at 1kHz, Iris is suitable for a wide range of portable and desktop sources. It is supplied with an 8-core OCC cable featuring 3.5mm and 4.4mm replaceable plugs, giving listeners the flexibility to move between standard single-ended and balanced connections.
