Noble Audio announces Vanguard: the next evolution of its highest-selling IEM

Building on the success of Knight, Vanguard introduces a new three-driver hybrid design, precision-machined aluminium construction and source-friendly performance at $325 / £299 / €349

7 July 2026: Noble Audio has announced Vanguard, a new hybrid in-ear monitor created to bring Noble’s high-performance IEM design to a wider audience. Building on the success of Knight, the highest-selling IEM in Noble Audio’s history, Vanguard introduces a new three-driver hybrid architecture, refined aluminium construction and an easy-to-drive design that works confidently with smartphones, portable amplifiers and digital audio players.

Vanguard is built around a 10mm dynamic driver and dual custom balanced armatures, delivering a cohesive, precise listening experience designed around control, clarity and balance.

Vanguard launches globally on 7 July 2026, priced at $325 / £299 / €349. It will be available from nobleaudio.com and selected retailers worldwide.

Building on Noble’s biggest IEM success story

Knight became the highest-selling IEM in Noble Audio’s history, opening the brand to a wider audience and proving the demand for a more accessible Noble wired monitor. With Vanguard, Noble has taken that same spirit and pushed it further, creating a new IEM that keeps the approachable price point while introducing a new hybrid driver platform, precision-machined aluminium construction and a complete portable listening package.

Vanguard is designed for music lovers, portable audio users and first-time Noble customers who want a serious introduction to the brand’s sound without moving into flagship-level pricing.

Three-way hybrid driver architecture

At the heart of Vanguard is a 1DD + 2BA three-way hybrid configuration, created to deliver a balanced sound across the frequency range.

A 10mm Polyether Ketone dynamic driver handles the low frequencies, giving Vanguard controlled, natural bass with weight and definition. A custom balanced armature manages the mid-high range, supporting clean, articulate vocals and instruments, while a second custom balanced armature is dedicated to the ultra-high frequencies for extended treble and fine detail.

This driver arrangement gives Vanguard its combination of dynamic impact, midrange clarity and high-frequency precision, while maintaining the cohesive presentation expected from a Noble Audio design.

Ready for modern portable listening

Vanguard has been built for the way people listen now. It does not demand a complex desktop chain or high-powered source to perform at its best. Instead, its easy-to-drive design makes it a natural partner for smartphones, portable amplifiers, balanced players and everyday carry systems.

With 112dB SPL/mW sensitivity and 23Ω impedance, Vanguard has the responsiveness needed for portable use while retaining the control and separation expected from a serious wired IEM.

The included 4.4mm balanced cable and 4.4mm to USB-C OCC adaptor also mean listeners can get started straight from the box, whether they are plugging into a dedicated audio player or a modern USB-C device.

Precision-machined aluminium construction

Vanguard features an aluminium precision-machined shell, giving the IEM a durable, refined and lightweight housing suitable for daily use. Each unit is hand-assembled and matched, helping support consistent performance between left and right channels.

An integrated stainless steel wax guard adds another practical layer to the design, helping protect the acoustic pathway and support long-term reliability during regular use.

Premium cable and USB-C adaptor included

To support modern listening setups, Vanguard is supplied with an 8-core silver-plated OFC cable with a PU-coated outer jacket, 0.78mm 2-pin connectors and a 4.4mm balanced gold-plated plug.

A 4.4mm to USB-C OCC adaptor cable is also included, making Vanguard ready for use with a wider range of smartphones, tablets and portable devices straight from the box.
